A wonderful coffee from the Amazonas region in Northern Peru, produced by a cooperative of women striving to use best organic practices while intercropping coffee with shade trees and other high altitude crops. This medium to low acidity coffee has a heavier body and mouthfeel producing a chocolaty cup with lingering nuttiness. Medium roasts can display some citrus flavor while darker roasts produce a smooth and rich cup, more chocolaty than nutty, sometimes with a hint of caramel.
